With special clamps, instead of the racks used before, PWBs are clamped at the top edge and hung vertically, and sent continuously for plating. The maximum acceptable size of the PWBs is 610 mm x 610 mm and the minimum is 300 mm x 300 mm in thickness from 0.1 mm to 2.4 mm.

1. |
Automatic loading/unloading is possible because it does not use racks, which allows full automation. Therefore, it has an advantage in cost thanks to reduction in manpower and labor. |
 |
| 2. |
Because the distance between the boards is only 5 to 10 mm in feeding, the distribution of film thickness on the edges of the boards is quite stable in comparison with the traditional rack method. |
 |
| 3. |
The work environment can be improved significantly because of the closed structure. |
 |
| 4. |
Because it uses the continuous feeding method without vertical motion in inputting/outputting the boards into/from the treatment tanks, it was possible to keep the height of the machine about 2.6m at the highest point. Therefore, it can be installed on the upper floors where beams are installed at a low level. |
