By applying it on the bright nickel or satin nickel film, a unique warm appearance can be obtained. Also, it has been used as a substitute process for chrome plating by utilizing its excellent physical properties. Features 1.　 Excellent in bath stability. Therefore, the color of plated film is consistent. 2.　 Barrel plating is possible because of the excellent covering power. 3.　 Topcoat is not needed because of the excellent wear resistance and discoloration resistance. 4.　 Physical properties are better than those of the tin-cobalt alloy plating.
